Hi friend! Welcome to the bookcasebelle blog! I am Victoria, a book blogger from Southern Ontario. I am most often found on Instagram as bookcasebelle. The bookcasebelle name comes from my love of books, and my favorite Disney princess - Belle from Beauty and the Beast!

A little bit about me...

I always enjoyed reading when I was young. Scholastic Book Fairs were my JAM and I absolutely loved going on trips to the bookstore. A few times I had even attempted to write my own stories.

Unfortunately, as I grew up, I let the pressures of school and work get in the way of something I loved. When the infamous pandemic hit in 2020, I took advantage of the lockdowns by trying out some new hobbies. These ultimately led me to discover this amazing Instagram community known as 'bookstagram', so I made my account, and the rest is history!

Now I love to read as often as I can, and you will rarely find me without a book on hand. It brings me so much joy to share this passion of mine and to see the community and friendships that I have formed because of it.

Something I have always dreamed of is having a blog and it is so cool to see this site come to life. I used to use website builders for fun and create different web pages for myself, and it's been so exciting finally putting one of these out into the world.

So, what's next??

My hopes with this site are to bring you plenty of book reviews and bookish lifestyle content! Here you will be able to find a more personal side to my book-lover life, and an expansion on my reviews as well.

I am aiming to have a post in your inbox every Sunday morning with anything from monthly wrap ups, seasonal bucket lists, what I have been up to, and tons of bookish-themed posts. There will be some sporadic posts in between too as I share a more detailed version of some of the reviews that you see on my Instagram. As for my Instagram page, not to worry as there will be no changes over there! Just some more content coming your way 😊
