October Wrap Up & Giveaway Winner!

October was a hard reading month for me. I have been feeling a little burnt out this month and making time for myself has definitely not been a priority. Hoping to use November as a fresh start and get back into reading more frequently.

This month I only read 2 books - which is still great! It is less than normal for me, but since I was feeling so off, I took my time and really enjoyed reading at a slower and more calm pace. Often when I set a monthly TBR for myself, or a goal of some sort, I am reading more but focusing on getting from book to book quickly. When I realized at the end of October that I hadn't read one full book, I just focused on trying to enjoy what I was reading and didn't worry about my TBR.

So that being said, before I dive head first into holiday reads, I am going to use November as a buffer month. No set TBR, no goal, I am just going to walk up to my bookshelves and pick whatever I want at the time off of my 'to read' shelf, and we will see how it goes!

The two books I read in October are:

1. Gone Tonight by Sarah Pekkanen

2. The Spare Room by Andrea Bartz

This one was quite the roller coaster! It was twisty, shocking, and very unique. I can't wait to share my review.
